answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/02/2021 answer text <p>Primary Care Networks are organising for vaccines to be delivered directly to care homes and given on site to residents by teams of general practitioners (GPs), practice nurses, community pharmacists and other trained vaccinators. They will also provide vaccination to care home staff on site where this is possible.</p><p>Where it is not possible or appropriate for care home workers to receive their vaccination in the care home, their employer should make arrangements for them to receive a vaccination at another appropriate and accessible vaccination service.</p><p>Anyone who has not yet received the vaccination will be visited, including those in care homes that had an outbreak. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/01/2021 answer text <p>The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) consists of independent experts who advise the Government on which vaccine/s the United Kingdom should use, including prioritisation at a population level. The JCVI has advised that the first priorities for any COVID-19 vaccination programme should be the prevention of COVID-19 mortality and the protection of health and social care staff and systems.</p><p> </p><p>Therefore, in line with the recommendations of the JCVI, the vaccine will be initially rolled out to the priority groups including care home residents and staff, people over 80 years old and health and care workers, followed by the rest of the population.
