<p>EDF is the lead investor in Hinkley Point C and, together with its investment partners, is responsible for the project’s schedule. On 25 September 2019, EDF confirmed the project’s intent to generate power from Unit 1 at the end of 2025, which has not changed from the date previously stated on 3 July 2017.</p>
