answer text <p>In line with other public appointments, applicants to be Chair of the Social Mobility Commission were not asked about their educational background. However, all applicants were asked to complete a diversity monitoring form. This is a standard form used for public appointments across government. The form asked the applicant to declare the following information:</p><ul><li><p>Gender</p></li><li><p>Disability status</p></li><li><p>Ethnicity</p></li><li><p>Age band</p></li><li><p>Sexual orientation</p></li><li><p>Religion or belief</p></li><li><p>Principal place of residence</p></li><li><p>Main employment and occupational sector</p><p>Applicants’ declarations were anonymised upon receipt and not considered as part of their application.</p></li></ul> more like this

Income received from related parties includes: transactions with subsidiary companies or shared services, diocesan education authorities, related charities as well as donations or services provided by trustees, or trustees’ family members.</p><p> </p><p>This information was not previously collected in this format and we do not have comparable analysis for previous years.</p><p> </p><p>Academy trusts are required to disclose all related party transactions in their audited annual accounts, which are publicly available for all years the academy trust has been in operation.</p>

answer text <p>As at 26 April 2018, there were 89 academies that have been approved by Head Teacher Boards to transfer to another trust.</p><p> </p><p>Academies may transfer to other trusts in a range of circumstances. In some cases, Regional Schools Commissioners may be intervening due to concerns about academy performance. In other cases, an academy may be moving trust as part of an agreed voluntary arrangement. Although transfers are agreed in principle, some may end up not going ahead for any number of reasons.</p> more like this
