My last official visit to Wales was on 22 - 23 March when I was delighted to announce, on a joint visit with the First Minister, that Anglesey Freeport and Celtic Freeport had been successful in their bids to establish new Freeports - backed by up to £26 million each in UK Government funding, and expected to bring forward an estimated £5 billion of private and public investment and create around 20,000 new, high-skilled jobs.</p><p><br>Details of my official visits can be found on the gov.uk website as part of the government’s transparency agenda. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/09/2019 answer text <p>The government is already taking wide-ranging action to support the UK steel industry, including compensation for energy costs, supporting innovation and clean steel production, and working with the industry to introduce steel procurement guidance.</p><p> </p><p>The government is monitoring businesses and sectors which may be exposed to short-term difficulties as a result of EU Exit. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/03/2015 answer text <p>The independent Committee on Standards in Public Life have previously recommended that MPs should remain free to have paid employment unrelated to their role as MPs, and that this is desirable in performing their role (1st Report Committee on standrdas in Public Life).<br><br>It is important that there is transparency about what MPs do, who pays them and for what. The House changed its rules before the last election to ensure that this detail is shown in the Register of Members' Financial Interests.
