Following the consultation on the 2018/19 Local Government Finance Settlement, all councils have set a balanced budget for the financial year 2018-19. All local Better Care Funds covering 2017-19 were signed off by Health and Wellbeing Boards in 2017, following agreement by the relevant local authorities and Clinical Commissioning Groups. SBRR was doubled to 100 per cent for businesses with rateable values under £12,000 from April 2017, meaning 600,000 small businesses now pay no business rates.
