answer text <p>All Government departments are planning for EU exit. This includes a number of scenarios. The purpose of the European Union (Withdrawal) Bill is to provide a functioning statute book on the day we leave the EU, and ensure that it is for our sovereign Parliament (and in some cases for the devolved legislatures) to make any future changes. If the UK repeals EU laws and directives after the UK has left the EU, the Government will, where necessary, undertake assessments on the potential effect on local authorities.</p> more like this
