answer text <p>Information on which constituencies in the UK have the highest number of electric vehicle charging points is not available.</p><p> </p><p>Data held by the Department for Transport, on electric vehicle charging devices in the UK, is sourced from those installed or funded under government approved grant schemes from the electric vehicle charging platform, Zap-Map.</p><p> </p><p>Data relating to electric vehicle charging devices installed or funded under government approved grant schemes is typically collated at Local Authority level or above. Charging devices not supplied via these schemes or recorded on Zap-Map are not included and the true number of charging devices may be higher than officially recorded in these figures.</p><p> </p><p>For each region of the United Kingdom, the below table provides the latest number of;</p><p>i. publicly available electric vehicle charging devices, as at 1<sup>st</sup> January 2023, according to Zap-Map;</p><p>ii. domestic electric vehicle charging devices installed and funded through the Domestic Residential Scheme (DRS) at 1st October 2022;</p><p>iii. answer text <p>The Government is committed to protecting the rights of passengers when travelling by air.</p><p>Last year the Department consulted on a range of aviation consumer issues, including ways in which compensation available for delayed domestic UK flights could be amended. answer text <p>I recognise the impact reliability has on commuters and leisure travellers. From a tourism perspective, we have seen a strong recovery on the Brighton route, and at Gatwick Airport. Performance in recent weeks has unfortunately been impacted by a number of incidents including flooding, infrastructure issues and trespass incidents, as well as industrial action. answer text <p>In the early hours of the morning of Saturday 28 January, Flybe Limited ceased trading. This was a commercial decision by the board of the company. The Government recognises that this will be a difficult time for Flybe’s passengers and staff. The immediate priority has been to support people travelling home and employees who have lost their jobs.</p><p> </p><p>Aviation is a devolved matter. However, officials at the Department for Transport have contacted Belfast City Airport to discuss the impacts of the announcement and have also been in contact with the Northern Ireland Department for Communities (DfC), as they are responsible for jobseeker support and related services in Northern Ireland.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Many of the Department’s research, development, and demonstration funding programmes support the development of hydrogen for transport. This includes the £206 million UK Shipping Office for Reducing Emissions, the £165 million Advanced Fuels Fund as part of the Jet Zero programme, the pioneering £212 million Zero Emission Road Freight Demonstrator, and the £7.6 million First of a Kind fund in rail.</p><p>The Department’s investment of £23 million to a dedicated Hydrogen Transport Hub on Tees Valley will be used to explore how hydrogen works across transport in conjunction with regions energy system and local businesses. The Government is also supporting the development of skills and announced funding to enable this, working with the Tees Valley Combined Authority to upskill the local workforce.</p> more like this
