answer text <p>The Government has committed to introducing mandatory disability awareness training for taxi and private hire vehicle (PHV) drivers through new National Minimum Standards for licensing authorities when Parliamentary time allows.</p><p> </p><p>The Government recently consulted on revised Best Practice Guidance for taxi and private hire vehicle licensing authorities in England, which included a stronger recommendation that every driver is required to complete disability awareness training. The Government’s response to this consultation will be published in due course, along with the final version of the guidance.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Colombia is a UK Human Rights Priority Country and UK ministers and senior officials regularly raise human rights and security issues with the Colombian Government and in multilateral fora. We look to the Colombian authorities to investigate fully this tragic death and to take appropriate action against those responsible.</p><p>Through our Conflict, Stability, and Security Fund (CSSF) programme, which has provided £69 million in support of Peace Agreement implementation, security, and stability in Colombia since 2015, we will continue to support programmes that help Human Rights Defenders and other groups affected by violence.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The UK Government is working to find a long-term solution for the migrants currently accommodated on Diego Garcia. Their welfare and safety are our top priority.  All possible courses of action are assessed in light of the possible risks to migrants, including mistreatment, trafficking or persecution. The British Indian Ocean Territory (BIOT) is not a suitable long-term place of residence for migrants and we are committed to finding a solution that ensures BIOT does not become a destination for people smuggling.</p> more like this
