answer text <p>No assessment of a specific derogation for wheelchair accessible vehicle manufacturers has been made. The Department plans to make a strictly limited derogation available to all manufacturers for the transition to the new WLTP emission test procedure and will shortly be issuing a consultation covering this issue. In addition, the Department’s officials have met with representatives of the Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle Converters’ Association (WAVCA) to discuss derogations with the aim to ensure that the supply of these important vehicles continues.</p> more like this
