We understand that discussions are ongoing but as yet a lease has not been granted. answer text <p>The Energy Act 2011 requires that the energy efficiency private rented property regulations come into force no later than 1 April 2018. We are working hard to ensure the regulations can be implemented as planned from this date.</p><p> </p><p>The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy has recently published guidance to landlords of non-domestic property on compliance with the minimum standard requirements, and is developing an exemptions register, as required by the Energy Efficiency Regulations 2015. We will set out the detail of how the domestic regulations will be implemented through corresponding guidance for landlords of domestic private rented property. This will be published prior to the launch of the exemptions register for domestic landlords later this year.</p> more like this

This consultation proposed changing the current 10% power efficiency requirement for biomass CHP plants applying to the RHI scheme to a 20% power efficiency requirement.
