The Government works closely with international partners, including airlines, airports and the Egyptian Government, on security standards. Global aviation security arrangements are kept under constant review. question text	To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what his policy is on the introduction of compulsory re-examination driving tests for people over the age of 70.

answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/09/2017 answer text <p>The current driver licensing arrangements take into account the risks that an individual poses to road safety and are designed to be fair and proportionate to all drivers who remain fit and competent to drive, regardless of age. Age alone is not a reliable indicator of driving ability.</p><p> </p><p>However, all drivers aged 70 and over must renew their licences and make a declaration about their medical fitness to drive at least every three years.
