answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/11/2017 answer text <p>Ministers have pressed Volkswagen to apply the technical fix to vehicles in the UK (including Northern Ireland) as quickly as possible and to make it as easy as possible for owners to have this work completed. Officials meet monthly with the company to discuss their progress.
