answer text <p>The Department is working with Civil Service HR colleagues and other government departments to work through the details of the Ethnicity Pay Gap reporting guidance that was published on 17 April 2023.</p><p> </p><p>In line with Gender Pay Gap Reporting, the Civil Service is looking to develop a consistent methodology to be used in departments to produce the data.</p><p>The outcomes of this development work will inform whether the Department is able to publish a report for 2023/2024.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Information on the Department for Transport’s gender pay gap for mean and median pay by grade is published by the Office for National Statistics in tables 32 and 33 respectively of the Civil Service statistics publications at <a href="https://www.ons.gov.uk/employmentandlabourmarket/peopleinwork/publicsectorpersonnel/datasets/civilservicestatistics" target="_blank">https://www.ons.gov.uk/employmentandlabourmarket/peopleinwork/publicsectorpersonnel/datasets/civilservicestatistics</a>. There are some minor differences in the scope between the ONS and GEO calculations, which can cause differences in the overall figures.</p><p> </p><p>The information on bonus pay by grade and the mean, median and bonus pay by profession is not readily available and can only be provided at disproportionate cost.</p> more like this
