<p>The Department is supporting Local Authorities to introduce measures such as Clean Air Zones, which involve public information campaigns on the dangers of air pollution. Idling policy is currently under review and the Department aims to make it possible for Local Authorities to tackle idling more effectively and build on their existing powers.</p><p> </p>
