answer text <p>Combined heat and power (CHP) plants use a range of technologies, which can offer efficiency savings of up to 30% compared to the separate generation of heat and electricity. Their efficiency varies depending on the particular technologies used and how they are operated. The CHP Quality Assurance Scheme assesses plants’ energy efficiency to ensure all those benefitting from government support meet a minimum level.</p> more like this
