answer text <p>Highways England have confirmed that between 1 July 2016 and 3 September 2016, 267 incidents were recorded as suicides or attempted suicides on the strategic road network.</p><p> </p><p>Highways England are currently moving to a new incident management system and are only able to provide data up to 3 September 2016 at this time.
