We have updated our travel advice for Israel.</p><p>The UK is strongly opposed to the Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions Movement against Israel. He also met the President, the Vice-President and other Cabinet Ministers. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/03/2017 answer text <p>We regularly discuss with the Government of South Sudan the need to cooperate fully with the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) in order to allow the mission to effectively fulfil its mandate, including the protection of civilians, monitoring the human rights situation, and securing the delivery of humanitarian aid. We continue to urge them to make progress on this issue. Most recently, the UK Special Representative for Sudan and South Sudan raised this directly with President Kiir on 2 March.</p><p>We are currently in the process of deploying 379 UK troops to UNMISS. I raised the issue of settlements with the Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister when we spoke on 10 January 2017.</p><p>The UK's position on settlements is clear. They are illegal under international law, present an obstacle to peace, and take us further away from a two-state solution. We regularly raise our concerns on this issue with the Government of Israel and urge it to reverse its systematic policy of settlement expansion. The Government of Iraq, with assistance from the international community, has begun to take measures to improve the structural integrity of the dam. We anticipate those measures will begin to reduce the risk of dam failure over time. It is currently impossible to accurately predict if or when a failure might occur. The Government of Iraq, with assistance from the international community, has begun to take measures to improve the structural integrity of the dam. We anticipate those measures will begin to reduce the risk of dam failure over time. Alongside the US, we are working with the Government of Iraq, the UN and other partners to ensure Iraq has effective contingency planning in place, including early warning and humanitarian planning, to enable ordinary Iraqis and the international community to respond in the event of failure. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/12/2016 answer text <p>We remain very concerned about appalling crimes being committed against religious minorities, as well as the majority Muslim population in Iraq and Syria. Minorities have suffered at the hands of Daesh in both Syria and Iraq. In Syria they have also suffered at the hands of the Asad regime, whose war against the Syrian people has killed over 400,000 Syrians. We are committed to defeating Daesh and bringing them to justice. We continue to work towards a sustainable political settlement in Syria, based on transition away from Asad. Protection of minorities is a key pillar of international agreements on transition in Syria and also of proposals by the Syrian Opposition. We are using our aid budget to alleviate the immediate humanitarian suffering of the most vulnerable people in the region, including minorities. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/12/2016 answer text <p>​The Foreign Secretary has discussed our deep concerns about the appalling humanitarian situation with Secretary Kerry and other key partners on a regular basis, including when he hosted a meeting in London on 16 October. The Prime Minister discussed the situation in Aleppo with the leaders of the US, Germany, Italy, France, Spain when she attended a summit in Berlin on 18 November. The Foreign Secretary asked the Russian Foreign Minister on 22 November to use his influence with the Syrian regime to let aid into Aleppo. Our Ambassador to the United Nations has repeated these message in the UN, most recently during the UK and French called emergency session of the Security Council on 30 November. The opposition have agreed the UN's four point plan for Aleppo. The regime needs to also.
