They have a wide variety of experience gained across government, regulators and in the private sector including in the areas of state aid and competition law. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/12/2017 answer text <p>Departments routinely publish their expenditure on contractors in their Annual Report and Accounts.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><ol><li><p>The cost to the Department of using contractors in 2016-17 is published in the 2017 Annual Report and Accounts.</p></li><li><p>The cost to the Department of using contractors in 2017-18 will be found in the 2018 Annual Report and Accounts which will be published next year.</p></li><li><p>There is no specific forecast for the cost of using private contractors for future years as contractors are used in order to meet short-term/immediate pressures.
