<p>The Ministry of Defence has no plans to collect data on the number of workers leaving the UK defence industry.</p><p>As part of our Defence Prosperity Programme we are working with the Defence Growth Partnership and the Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy to develop a new Joint Economic Data Hub (JEDHub) within the UK Defence Solutions Centre at Farnborough to improve how we quantify the defence sector's contribution to the UK economy.</p>
