Formal negotiations with our EU partners on the shape and nature of the immigration regime that will apply after the UK leaves the EU will soon be underway. The Home Office currently processes several million immigration decisions each year and will ensure that the necessary resources are provided to process applications for the new residence status outlined by the Government.
