<p>The Prime Minister, my Rt. Hon. Friend the Member for Witney (Mr Cameron) and the
Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, and my Rt. Hon. Friend the
Member for Runnymede and Weybridge (Mr Hammond), have both spoken to Kurdistan Region
President Barzani. The Secretary of State for International Development, my Rt. Hon.
Friend the Member for Putney (Justine Greening), and I visited Erbil on 27 August
and met with President Barzani, Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Deputy Prime Minister
Talabani, and other Ministers. I have also met the KRG’s representative in the UK
and officials are in regular contact with the KRG offices in both the UK and Iraq.</p>
