This includes advice on how to manage fear and anxiety, coping with frustration and tips on how to look after your wellbeing.</p><p>National Health Service mental health services have remained open for business throughout this time and have deployed innovative digital tools to provide ongoing support, including for people experiencing mental ill health as a result of the long-term effects of a COVID-19 infection.</p><p>The Chief Executive of NHS England wrote to NHS organisations on 31 July setting out the third phase of the NHS response to COVID-19. At the Plan for Jobs 2020, the Government announced an ambitious £3.05 billion package including the Green Homes Grant, designed to aid homeowners and landlords retrofit to upgrade the energy and cost efficiency of their homes. At Spring Budget 2020 the Government announced at least £800 million to support Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) in two initial industrial clusters, the first by the mid-2020s and the second by 2030. CCS has the potential to reduce carbon emissions from power plants and factories. And on Tuesday (22 September), Dogger Bank Wind Farm announced the creation of almost 250 jobs in the North East on a project that will be capable of powering up to 4.5m homes when complete.</p><p> </p><p>Our upcoming National Infrastructure Strategy will set out our long-term economic infrastructure ambitions, focusing on decarbonisation and levelling up the nation.</p><p> </p><p>The UK is a global centre for sustainable finance with an established reputation in green finance and a frontrunner in the structuring, underwriting, and listing of green bonds, with more than 100 bonds listed on the London Stock Exchange, raising over $26 billion across eight currencies</p><p> </p><p>The government has been carefully considering the potential issuance of a UK sovereign green bond and will keep this under review. The UK encourages all states to implement national export control best practice in support of these regimes. We regularly discuss and share information on research, policy and practical activities with a number of countries, in and beyond Europe, on reported declines and how best to address them.</p><p> </p><p>The UK is a member of ‘Promote Pollinators’, an international coalition of the willing, with 60 members, including countries in Europe and across the world, committed to action to protect pollinators.</p><p> </p><p>We have also supported collaborative international research which has underpinned such initiatives, including a major global review of the status and threats to insect pollinators, published in 2015 by the Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services.</p><p> </p><p>The UK continues to play a leading role in the development of an ambitious post-2020 global framework for biodiversity to be adopted at the 15<sup>th</sup> Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/02/2021 answer text <p>Prevent plays an essential role in stopping vulnerable people being drawn into terrorism.</p><p>The Independent Review of Prevent will look at the effectiveness of the Government’s strategy to protect vulnerable people from being drawn into terrorism. It will also make recommendations for the future.</p><p>The process for the appointment of the Independent Reviewer of Prevent was published on 27 April 2020. A fair and open competition to appoint the next Independent Reviewer invited applicants to demonstrate their independence, expertise, credibility, written and analytical skills, and resilience. A panel, led by an independent chair, convened to assess each application against the essential criteria and decide who to recommend to Ministers for interview.<em> </em>Following the interviews, the panel’s advice on the appointable candidates was sent to Ministers for a decision on who to appoint. Ministers found that Mr Shawcross met these criteria and possessed the right range of skills and experience to conduct this important Review. To protect the confidentially of candidates, details of applications are only shared with relevant stakeholders in the recruitment process. The appointment was completed in accordance with the Governance Code on Public Appointments, which sets out the regulatory framework for public appointments processes. It is not part of that process to consult external bodies in advance of the appointment being made.</p><p>As Mr Shawcross has accepted the appointment, he is responsible for the conduct and recommendations of the Independent Review. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 25/07/2017 answer text <p>The UK Government recognises the specific risks such as abduction and murder faced by religious minorities in Iraq and Syria, including those who have suffered so horrifically at the hands of Daesh, and is deeply concerned by reports of human rights abuses motivated by religious or ethnic identity.</p><p>All people in need, from any community, irrespective of religious affiliation, are eligible for humanitarian assistance. DFID’s humanitarian implementing partners, including the UN, consider a wide range of issues when assessing an individual’s vulnerability such as the impact of physical or mental disabilities, income, age, missing family members, and whether individuals are already receiving assistance from other sources.</p><p>The organisations through which we channel our support do not identify or record beneficiaries by their religion. The reason for this is because there is a risk that collecting information about the ethnicity or religion of people receiving aid could be obtained by others, including extremist groups, and used to persecute them.</p><p>We do not therefore hold information on how much UK-funded support is channelled to Yezidis and Christians either inside or outside camps. This year the UK will provide £40 million for urgent humanitarian assistance in Iraq and £4 million for the UN’s Funding Facility for Immediate Stabilisation (FFIS) to help rebuild communities affected by Daesh, including for minority communities in newly liberated areas in Iraq. The UK is also providing £500 million to support people, including refugees and internally displaced Syrians, affected by the Syria crisis in 2017. DFID does not fund the Bishops Emergency Committee.</p><p>The Nineveh Reconstruction Committee comprised of Church representatives has not contacted the UK Government or submitted a proposal for UK support for the construction of homes on the Nineveh Plains.</p><p>The UK is funding the UN’s Funding Facility for Immediate Stabilisation (FFIS), which is supporting 152 projects in mainly Christian communities in the Ninewa Plains and 70 projects in Yezidi communities in Sinjar, Rabia and Sinuni.</p><p>UN agencies are obliged to operate by the humanitarian principles of neutrality and impartiality which aim to ensure that no one is excluded or discriminated against on the grounds of race, ethnicity, or religion; and to also ensure that the specific risks facing minorities are addressed and that assistance reaches those who need it most. DFID considers reports from a wide range of sources, including field visits by UK officials where these are possible, to assess the effectiveness of UN operations and their compliance with humanitarian principles.
