BSOG spend figures have been published on Gov.uk annually since the 2010-11 financial year. Details can be found via this link: <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/bus-services-grants-and-funding#bsog-spend" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/bus-services-grants-and-funding#bsog-spend</a></p><p> </p><p>Up until 31 December 2013 Bus Service Operators Grant (BSOG) was paid directly to bus operators and was not split between commercially run or subsidised bus services. From 1 January 2014 local authorities have received funding equivalent to the level of BSOG which would otherwise have been paid to operators for running subsidised services in 2014. BSOG spend figures are only broken down to upper tier local authority level. It should also be noted that the local authorities listed in the tables are derived from the address given on the BSOG claim form. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/11/2018 answer text <p>The department has not made an assessment of the reasons for the fall in bus journeys in the North West and Merseyside.</p><p> </p><p>It is important to consider the fall in bus journeys in the context of a broader decline in overall trips. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/11/2018 answer text <p>Compensation for delays is provided by Train Operating Companies (TOCs) in accordance with their published Passenger’s Charter and is measured against the timetable in operation on the day of travel. Recently the SWR timetable has had to be amended to mitigate the impact of the RMT strikes, but SWR are required to publicise these changes in advance of the day in question.</p><p> </p><p>If a train is cancelled or delayed and a passenger has an Off-Peak, Super Off-Peak, Advance, or anytime ticket and decides not to travel, they will be entitled to a full refund of their ticket. For carriageway assets, these dates may change for reasons such as the level of use, severe weather and damage from incidents. Concrete surfaces such as those on the M20 between junctions 8 and 9 have an indicative design life of approximately 40 years. This section was laid in 1991; therefore the indicative end of life is around 2031. However, as the current need for retexturing some short stretches of the M20 between junction 9 and 8 indicates, it may be that end of life will arrive before 2031.
