This could include that passengers ensure they are aware of the fare on the meter and notify the driver if it is approaching the limit of their financial means. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/11/2018 answer text <p>The EU (Withdrawal) Act will ensure existing EU environmental law continues to have effect in UK law after the UK leaves the EU.</p><p> </p><p>The Government has committed to the creation of a new body to hold the Government to account on its compliance with environmental law. We will work to ensure that the new body is in place as soon as possible in a no deal scenario with the necessary powers to review and if necessary, take enforcement action in respect of breaches of environmental law from when the jurisdiction of the Court of Justice of the European Union has ended in a no deal scenario, from 23:00 on 29 March 2019 onwards. This will mean that the Government will be held accountable as under existing EU law from the day we leave the EU. Both the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and the Department for Transport continue to closely monitor the situation following the tragic incident in Indonesia.</p><p> </p><p>The safety assessment of the Boeing 737 MAX is the responsibility of the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), as the national authority of the state of design, and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), which is responsible for the safety certification of aircraft types in the EU.</p><p> </p><p>Following the tragic accident in Indonesia last month, the FAA issued an Emergency Airworthiness Directive requiring changes to the aircraft’s flight manuals. This has also been mandated by EASA.</p><p> </p><p>There are no Boeing 737 MAX aircraft in service with UK airlines currently. The WHO report agrees with the ambition to reduce noise and to minimise adverse health effects, but it also emphasizes the importance of policy being underpinned by the most robust evidence available on these effects.</p><p> </p><p>The Government is committed to ensuring that noise is managed to promote good health and quality of life effectively. Between 4 October and 15 November 2018 the Government consulted on the Noise Action Plans, which are designed to manage environmental noise and its effects arising from road, rail and agglomerations (large urban areas).
