answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/02/2020 answer text <p>The 25 Year Environment Plan (25YEP) commits the Government to safeguarding and enhancing the beauty of our natural scenery and improving its environmental value, while being sensitive to considerations of its heritage. We will continue this approach to improving the natural environment, both identifying the mutually positive impacts on the natural and historic environments our policies can have, as well as identifying potential trade-offs between them. Under the Environment Bill, to be reintroduced shortly, the 25YEP will be adopted as the first statutory Environment Improvement Plan.</p><p>The Agriculture Bill, recently laid before Parliament, will enable the Government to develop our ambitious new Environmental Land Management (ELM) scheme. Our scheme is the cornerstone of our new agricultural policy. Founded on the principle of “public money for public goods”, ELM will provide a powerful vehicle for achieving the goals of the 25YEP and commitment to net zero carbon emissions by 2050, while supporting our rural economy. The ability of both state and non-state actors to conduct sophisticated cyber attacks is something the UK takes seriously and we have committed to investing £1.9 billion in cyber security over the next 5 years. We note the report published by the Sutton Trust.</p><p>On 2 June 2021, we announced a £1.4 billion education recovery package, which includes a £153 million investment in evidence-based professional development for early years practitioners, including through new programmes focusing on key areas such as speech and language development for the youngest children. This brings the total investment announced for education recovery for early years, schools, and colleges to over £3 billion since June 2020. The government has committed to an ambitious, long-term education recovery plan. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/12/2023 answer text <p>To support all students taking GCSE exams in 2024, the department has confirmed that students will not need to memorise the usual formulae and equations for GCSE mathematics, physics and combined science, as they must in a normal year. Ofqual is holding a consultation on this proposal to provide formulae and revised equation sheets, which closes on 30 November.</p><p>For schools that are directly affected by RAAC, the department has asked Awarding Organisations (AOs) to provide as much flexibility as possible within the confines of their processes and regulations, for example by granting extensions to deadlines for coursework or non-examined assessments and sensitively considering the timing of moderation visits. The department has asked AOs to agree such arrangements in advance so schools have as much certainty as possible and can plan their timetabling and teaching accordingly. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/11/2019 answer text <p>​We are concerned about the reports of the damage to the Ahmadiyya Muslim mosque in Hasilpur, Punjab, Pakistan.</p><p>We regularly raise our concerns about reports of discrimination against religious minorities in Pakistan, including the Ahmadis, with the Pakistani Government at a senior level. The previous Foreign Secretary discussed the treatment of minority religious communities with Foreign Minister Qureshi during his visit to the UK in June. The UK strongly condemns the persecution of all minorities, including the targeting of innocent people based on their beliefs.
