I raised the proposed changes to Radio Foyle.</p><p>While the BBC is editorially and operationally independent and it is for it to decide how to deliver its services and meet the BBC’s Charter responsibilities, we expect the BBC to consider the views of stakeholders when it makes the decision over whether to proceed with these plans.</p> more like this

There are multiple public service pension schemes, managed by different government departments and devolved administrations. The value of an individual’s pension can depend on a number of factors, including career length, accrual rate, pay progression and what age they choose to retire. If so, departments may not move money across the ring-fence, except as specified in the Spending Review settlement.
