Data is also collected for the number of people who have died in hospital from COVID-19 and this is reported online by NHS England on a daily basis. However, we are not able to correlate the two data sets in the format requested.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>On 2 June, NHS England published data that showed 22,497 patients were discharged from hospitals in England to registered care homes and hospices between 19 March 2020 and 16 April 2020. We do not currently have access to data post-16 April 2020. The data is based on day of discharge and excludes privately funded people discharged from privately run hospitals to care homes.</p><p>It is our priority to ensure that everyone is discharged safely from hospital and to the most appropriate available place.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The NHS Test and Trace workforce consists of a combination of; civil servants employed by the programme and also on loan from across Government, secondees from the public and private sector, contractors and consultants. Since May 2020 our data shows that a total of 630 people have left their role on NHS Test and Trace. 220 of these were civil servants, of which 19 have left the Civil Service completely and are therefore subject to the Business Appointment Rules.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Data on the number of people tracked and traced as part of the NHS Test and Trace programme are not available in the format requested.</p><p>The Department publishes weekly experimental statistics from the NHS Test and Trace service in England. Figures include contact tracing undertaken online, by local health protection teams and by contact tracing staff.</p><p>The data shows that between 28 May and 10 June 2020 14,045 people who tested positive for COVID-19 had their case transferred to the contact tracing system, of whom 10,192 were asked to provide details of recent contacts. 96,746 contacts were identified and of these 87,639 were reached and advised to self-isolate.</p><p>A copy of <em>Experimental Statistics Weekly NHS Test and Trace bulletin, England: 28 May – 10 June 2020</em> is attached.</p><p> </p> more like this
