The sectors that have been included are: Education (level unspecified), Basic education, secondary education and post-secondary education.</p><p>(b) DFID spent £691m bi-laterally on the broad Health sector in 2018/19. The sectors that have been included are: Health general, basic health and non-communicable diseases.</p><p>(c) (i) DFID spent £1,048m bi-laterally on the broad Economic Infrastructure and services sector in 2018/19. The sectors that have been included are as follows: Transport &amp; storage, communications, energy generation and policy, banking and businesses.</p><p>(ii) DFID spent £209m bi-laterally on the broad Social Infrastructure sector in 2018/19. The UK supports countries to move more rapidly towards UHC by building strong and resilient health systems that meet essential needs for all. To achieve this, DFID provides technical assistance and financial support directly to countries, political and financial support to the World Health Organisation, and funding for research and new products that reduce the prices countries pay for essential commodities. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/05/2020 answer text <p>As Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance’s largest donor, the UK fully supports the Gavi 5.0 strategy for 2021-2015 to ‘leave no one behind with immunisation’. The UK has committed £1.65 billion, the equivalent of £330 million per year, to support Gavi’s goal to immunise a further 300 million children and save up to 8 million lives.</p><p>The UK is hosting the Global Vaccine Summit on 4 June, which will bring countries together to raise the funds required to save millions of lives. The Gavi replenishment period is vital to raise at least $7.4 billion to fund Gavi’s investment case for its next five years of work (2021-2025).</p><p>Gavi’s strategy for the next five years was approved by the Gavi Board in June 2019, with a focus on equity and increasing vaccination coverage to unreached and under-immunised children. DFID’s education programming has so far contributed to improved access to better quality education for 270,000 children in Northwest Syria, including children inside and outside the de-militarised zone. Our support in Idlib has also provided safe spaces for children and victims of gender-based violence, funded capacity building of vital child protection services by Syrian organisations and provided immunisations for 95,000 children under five between January and June 2018.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>We continue to advocate for the protection of all civilians in Idlib, including at the UN Security Council, and call on all parties to adhere to agreed ceasefires and cessations of hostilities. This is why the UK is taking a leading role in tackling climate change and protecting the world’s natural resources.</p><p> </p><p>The UK has committed to £5.8bn of climate finance from 2016/17 – 2020/21. This includes specific assistance to help people and communities to be more resilient to climate change. For example, under our Building Resilience and Adaptation to Climate Extremes and Disasters programme, we are helping farmers in Burkina Faso prepare for heavy rains and high temperatures, which will help improve household food security and livelihoods. Since 2011, UK climate investments have supported 47 million people to cope with the effects of climate change and provided 17 million people with improved access to clean energy. In Bangladesh we will provide counselling and psychological support for over 10,000 women suffering from the trauma of war and over 2,000 survivors of sexual violence.
