These include requirements to protect vulnerable people from being harmed by gambling and to intervene when a customer shows signs of being at risk of harm, which apply however payments are made.</p><p>Payments made by mobile phone are capped by the Payment Services Regulations 2017 at £40 per transaction, up to a total of £240 per month. These limits cover all services charged to phone bills, such as gambling and music downloads. They are not a common means of spending on gambling, currently accounting for around 0.4% of the annual gross gambling yield (including lotteries). In addition to the regulatory requirements of the Commission, the Phone-Paid Services Authority also regulates services that involve charges to phone bills.</p><p>Phone payments do not represent a breach of rules banning credit card payments for gambling but the Gambling Commission has committed to evaluate the impact of the ban, including looking at displacement to other payment methods. Funfairs and fairgrounds - which will be permitted to reopen in all three tiers as they were prior to this period of national restrictions - will need to go through the normal process of requesting permission and any relevant licences from the relevant authority and have the relevant health and safety protocols in place, including a Covid-19 risk assessment.</p><p> </p><p>Local Authorities are responsible for deciding whether to permit outdoor events in their area. Decisions should be made on a case-by-case basis, with consideration given to both the risks and the mitigations in place.</p><p> </p><p>In the government's Covid-19 Secure guidance for the Visitor Economy, we have provided guidance for Local Authorities on how to assess applications for outdoor events and how Local Authorities should support event organisers to hold outdoor events safely. In England, the majority of coverage improvements from the SRN will come from the industry funded and managed element of the programme, which will close the majority of partial not-spots - areas where there is currently coverage from at least one, but not all mobile network operators (MNOs).</p><p>The four MNOs have already commenced work on this element of the SRN, with more than 800 sites already announced, and work to improve coverage in other areas in progress. This aspect of the programme is on track to be delivered by June 2024.</p><p>In the East of England, 4G coverage from all four MNOs will rise to a minimum of 93% (up from 90% today) by the end of the programme.</p><p>The SRN is not the only focus for infrastructure investment in expanding mobile connectivity. Many clubs would have failed without that support.</p><p>The Sport Survival Package distributed a total of £264.8 million funding (loan and grant funding) to over 1,685 organisations across 15 sports. The Government issued £13.3 million in loans to 34 non-league football clubs.</p><p>The value of individual loans are commercially sensitive. The Year of Engineering 2018 encourages aviation partners to engage young people with the sector, such as the Royal Aeronautical Society’s ‘Cool Aeronautics’ programme.</p><p>Through its grant-making, the Heritage Lottery Fund supports the development of new skills to look after and share our rich aviation heritage and collections. Their approach encourages applicants to consider incorporating apprenticeships, volunteer training and the creation of learning resources to develop the STEM skills needed to conserve and digitally interpret over 100 years of aviation history.
