Sir Peter Hendy will report back to the Secretary of State for Transport this autumn with a proposal for re-planning the Control Period 5 enhancements in a way that is efficient, deliverable and affordable. As part of this re-planning exercise Network Rail is consulting widely, including with train and freight operators.
