HMS DEFENDER is currently deployed on operations in the Gulf. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/06/2020 answer text <p>As a Trading Fund (up to 31 March 2017) or Executive Agency (from 1 April 2017) of the Ministry of Defence (MOD), Dstl is funded principally by revenue from customers rather than direct Government funding. Since 1 April 2017 capital expenditure only has been funded directly from MOD budget allocation. It is yet another reminder of the grave danger that North Korea poses. As a consequence on 5 July, the North Korean Ambassador was summoned to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. The UN Security Council met to condemn the test. We will now work to ensure the Mission has a robust mandate and strong composition and will be urging the Burmese authorities to cooperate fully with it.</p><p>The UK continues to seek an end to all violations and to prevent an escalation in violence, including against Rohingya Muslims. Human rights and democratic reform will remain at the heart of British policy towards Burma.
