The military wing of Hamas has been proscribed since 2001 under UK legislation. On Wednesday 17 December the EU General Court annulled the EU listing of Hamas on procedural grounds. The rollout of superfast broadband will reach 95% of the UK by 2017 because of our investment and the match funding it has leveraged. In addition to rolling out superfast to 95% we are exploring ways to go beyond this through a series of pilot schemes; and we are extending our successful Connection Voucher Scheme which helps businesses with broadband connection costs.
