<p>Offshore wind is already bringing high value jobs to coastal communities like Grimsby,
for example, from the Triton Knoll project.</p><p> </p><p>Hull has seen 1,000 direct
jobs created from the £310 million investment in Siemens’ blade factory.</p><p> </p><p>We
are moving to advance discussions with the offshore wind sector around a Sector Deal
that ensures higher levels of local content, UK jobs and investment in supply chains,
like those in the hon Member’s constituency.</p><p> </p>
