In April 2022 we consulted on its policy design features to engage further on the future regulation, and a third and final consultation outlining our final full proposal is due to be published soon. The level of impact that National Grid presents is readily manageable by the electricity system. This covers all rules that set the requirements for placing a product on the market, including environmental requirements, as are necessary to provide for frictionless trade at the border.
