<p>On 7 October NHS England announced £10 million of investment to establish a network
of specialist clinics in England to support patients suffering from the persistent
effects of COVID-19 or ‘long COVID-19’.</p><p>These specialist clinics will support
patients suffering from various symptoms of long covid including those relating to
mental health. Every patient will undergo a psychological assessment to see if they
are suffering from depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder or another
mental health condition as a result of COVID-19. Further details on the location of
the clinics will be announced shortly.</p><p>The National Health Service has also
launched the ‘Your Covid Recovery’, an online rehabilitation service that provides
personalised support to patients for both their physical and mental health.</p>
