answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/10/2014 answer text <p /> <p>In response to Part A of the question “what magazine subscriptions his Department funds”.</p><p> </p><p>The Department has no contracted provision to supply general magazines.</p><p> </p><p>In response to Part B of the Question “what television channels his department funds”.</p><p> </p><p>The National Offender Management Service funded The Life Channel in a limited number of Prisons in 2013/2014. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/09/2014 answer text <p>Information on individual media subscriptions is not held centrally and could be provided only at disproportionate cost.<br><br>The Ministry Of Defence (MOD) purchases its print and electronic journals through a pan-Government framework contract. Our expenditure against this contract totalled £584,387 (excluding VAT) in financial year 2013-14.<br>The contract is mainly used for the purchase of academic, technical, medical and trade publications for the MOD colleges, training centres, technical information centres and medical units, including those in operational theatres. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/08/2014 answer text <p>a) The Library Service subscribe to 117 journals using the SwetsWise pan-government contract. This is the only centrally held information on journal or magazine subscriptions. <br><br>b) The Home Office pays for a monthly rental for Parliament TV Services in Millbank. This TV services carries live and archived coverage of all UK Parliament proceedings taking place in public, including debates and committee meetings of both Houses.
