The use of renewable fuels in construction vehicles is also encouraged through the Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation. The current, temporary, type-approval scheme for these L-category vehicles ends on 31<sup>st</sup> December 2027 and the Government expects to have a full GB approval scheme in place before then.
