A list of the items temporarily moved will be placed in the Library of the House.</p><p>This includes safely transferring the political cartoons donated by former Chancellors, including Alistair Darling's from 2007, “With hindsight, that wasn’t the best time to ask the Chancellor which music he prefers – Johnny Cash or Northern Rock.”</p><p>I hope the Rt Hon Member and her staff will appreciate the importance of preserving such moments from history of the last Labour Government.</p><p>The full activity schedule is attached, with lists A,B,C and D on the following pages. Ofcom first reported on 5G coverage in 2021 and is refining its measuring and reporting of this. Ofcom does not currently report on 5G availability in rural compared to non-rural areas.</p><p>According to Ofcom, (basic) ‘non-standalone’ 5G is available with a high degree of confidence from at least one mobile network operator outside 77% of UK premises.</p><p>Our forthcoming Wireless Infrastructure Strategy will articulate a clear vision for how advanced wireless infrastructure can become an integral part of the fabric of the UK's economy and society by 2030. The Digital Markets Unit (DMU), within the CMA, will oversee and enforce the new regime.</p><p>The new regime will address the far-reaching power of the most powerful tech firms. While new technologies are delivering huge value to consumers and businesses, a small number of firms exert immense control across strategically critical services online. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/01/2023 answer text <p>The Online Safety Bill will apply to all companies that allow users to post content online or to interact with each other, as well as search services.</p><p>All companies in scope of the Bill will have duties to proactively tackle priority illegal content, including illegal anti-semitic content, and will need to prevent their services from being used to facilitate or commission these offences. They will also be required to swiftly remove other illegal content where there is a victim and it is flagged to them. In addition, Category 1 Service, which will include the largest social media companies, will need to ensure they properly enforce their terms of service, and provide adult users with tools to help them avoid content that is abusive or incites hatred on the basis of religion.</p><p>This means that the Bill will offer adult users a ‘triple shield’ of protection against anti-semitic content. Firstly, regulated services will need to take robust action against such content where it meets a criminal threshold. Secondly, Category 1 services will be required to take down anti-semitic content that is in breach of their own terms of service, and third, they must provide adults with greater controls over content they may not wish to see, reducing the risk that they encounter anti-semitic content.</p><p>Finally, the Online Safety Bill will require all services which are likely to be accessed by children to provide safety measures for child users. DCMS and our arm’s-length bodies, including Arts Council England and Historic England, play an important role in the Government’s work to improve health and wellbeing.</p><p>Arts Council England’s ‘Creative Health and Wellbeing Plan’ sets out its ongoing commitment to help people live happier, healthier lives, while Historic England’s ‘Wellbeing and Heritage Strategy’ aims to ensure that everyone can experience the wellbeing benefits of heritage. Both organisations work with the NHS and partner with the National Academy of Social Prescribing.</p><p>The Government’s <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/opportunity-for-all-strong-schools-with-great-teachers-for-your-child" target="_blank">schools White Paper</a>, published in March 2022, said that all children should be entitled to take part in sport, music and cultural opportunities, noting that “These opportunities are an essential part of a broad and ambitious curriculum, and support children’s health, wellbeing and wider development, particularly as we recover from the pandemic.” The Government published updated <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/news/sport-and-music-education-championed-with-new-investment" target="_blank">plans</a> to support sport and <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/the-power-of-music-to-change-lives-a-national-plan-for-music-education" target="_blank">music</a> education in 2022, and will publish a <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/news/baroness-bull-cbe-appointed-chair-of-the-expert-advisory-panel-for-the-cultural-education-plan" target="_blank">cultural education plan</a> in 2023, which DCMS is working with the Department for Education and our arm’s-length bodies in developing.</p> answering member constituency Pudsey answering member printed Stuart Andrew question first answered 26/01/2023 18:09:19 answering member 4032 label Biography information for Stuart Andrew

We will soon start to consult the BBC, Ofcom and the Devolved Administrations on potential conclusions, as required by the review’s Terms of Reference.
