We aim to agree these with all places by early 2020. For Kent, the South East LEP will set out an ambitious long-term vision for the area to increase its productivity, build on its established strengths, and create new opportunities for people and businesses in emerging sectors and industries.</p><p> </p><p>The government know that regions across the UK have different skills needs, so will build on local strengths to deliver opportunities for people wherever they live. One way we will achieve this is through Skills Advisory Panels which bring together local employers and skills providers to pool knowledge on skills and labour market needs and work together to understand and address key local challenges. This is funded primarily through the EU central budget with small additional membership fees from member states. The UK pays a €290,000 annual membership fee directly to F4E.</p><p> </p><p>UK membership of F4E gives UK scientists and engineers the opportunity to work at, and in partnership with, ITER on development of fusion as a clean, safe and virtually inexhaustible energy source. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/06/2017 answer text <p>The UK underlined our commitment to the Paris Agreement at the G7 Environment Ministers’ meeting earlier this month and at the EU Foreign Affairs and Environment Affairs Councils last week, where, along with European partners, we were clear that we deeply regret the US decision to withdraw from the Paris Agreement.</p><p>We welcome the continued support that the Paris Agreement has received from other political parties here in the UK, other countries, and subnational and non-state actors in the US and around the world. We will continue to work with the US to encourage them to show the leadership they have in the past on reducing carbon emissions.</p><p>We will continue to work through the G20, and other international fora, to promote the swift and effective implementation of the Paris Agreement. For example, the Government remains committed to the success of the Green Climate Fund as the key new vehicle for helping developing countries adapt to climate change and follow low carbon development paths.
