The team does not employ any private contractors. We are not currently reviewing off peak frequencies at low use stations, because a Thameslink consultation is under way. A recommendation to procure more Class 700 trains has not been accepted for commercial reasons. Chris Gibb also recommended a fares and ticketing review of Gatwick services. However, this is not consistent with Government fares policy.
