This funding is in addition to the £1.4 billion of condition allocations already provided this year to those responsible for maintaining school buildings.</p><p> </p><p>A calculation tool will be published by December that will enable schools to estimate their own allocation. It is for ITT providers to use their discretion to determine the content and structure of courses, but they must be designed so that teacher trainees can demonstrate that they meet all of the Teachers' Standards at the appropriate level to be awarded Qualified Teacher Status. The Standards set out the key elements of effective teaching minimum expectations for the professional practice and conduct of teachers. They can be viewed here: <a href="http://www.gov.uk/government/publications/teachers-standards" target="_blank">www.gov.uk/government/publications/teachers-standards</a>.</p><p>Teachers’ Standards require trainees to “have a secure understanding of how a range of factors can inhibit pupils’ ability to learn, and how best to overcome these; and demonstrate an awareness of the physical, social and intellectual development of children, and know how to adapt teaching to support pupils’ education at different stages of development.”</p><p>‘A Framework of core content for Initial Teacher Training’, published in July 2016 says providers “should equip trainees to analyse the strengths and needs of all pupils effectively, ensuring that they have an understanding of cognitive, social, emotional, physical and mental health factors that can inhibit or enhance pupils’ education.” The Framework can be found here: <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/initial-teacher-training-government-response-to-carter-review" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/initial-teacher-training-government-response-to-carter-review</a>.</p><p>Ofsted is responsible for making judgements about the quality of training and the leadership and management of an ITT partnership. This will direct resources where they are needed most, and provide transparency and predictability for schools.</p><p> </p><p>The Government recognises that schools need stability. This is why the Department has provided protection in the formula, so that every school and every local area, will be allocated an increase of at least 0.5% per pupil in 2018-19 and 1% in 2019-20, over its baseline.</p><p> </p><p>The following table shows the impact of the fully implemented national funding formula for the four metropolitan boroughs in South Yorkshire. Per pupil funding is 50% more in real-term than in 2000.</p><p>The introduction of the national funding formulae is supported by significant extra investment of £1.3 billion across 2018-19 and 2019-20, over and above the budget announced at the 2015 spending review. Core funding for schools and high needs will rise from almost £41 billion in 2017-18 to £42.4 billion this year and £43.5 billion in 2019-20. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/06/2018 answer text <p>As part of school inspections, inspectors are required to report on the extent to which the education provided at the school meets the needs of pupils with special educational needs. The inspection criteria are the responsibility of HM Chief Inspector, and are set out in Ofsted’s framework and school inspection handbook.</p><p> </p><p>Ofsted is currently reviewing its inspection arrangements and intends to introduce a new framework from September 2019.
