If they wish to relocate, it is only right that we facilitate that in order to save taxpayers’ money and pressures on our public services.</p><p>Regarding the voluntary relocation of individuals to Rwanda, it would be inappropriate to provide a running commentary on individual cases.</p><p>If a person expresses an interest in the voluntary relocation, we are supporting people in ensuring that they have all the information they need in order to make a decision.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>During 2023, the Cutter &amp; CPV fleet did not provide assistance to small boat operations in the South East region.</p><p>Instead, Border Force utilised a fleet of 5 Commercial Transfer Vessels (CTVs) - Defender, Hurricane, Ranger, Typhoon and Volunteer.</p><p>Out of the 604 small boat events that occurred in 2023, the CTVs successfully intercepted 544, accounting for a 90% interception rate, the remaining interceptions were carried out by the RNLI due to asset suitability in deteriorating weather conditions.</p><p>This framework in the South East allows the Cutter &amp; CPV fleet to focus on maritime enforcement deployments around the UK.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>An interest in a freehold property owned by a company in liquidation will be dealt with by the appointed liquidator, who will decide how best to deal with the property interest to achieve the best outcome for creditors.</p><p>Where the property interest is onerous, for example it is not readily saleable or may give rise to a liability, the liquidator may seek to disclaim it.</p><p>Once disclaimed the freehold property interest, in the absence of any other owner or a vesting order, may pass to the Crown Estate according to the legal principle of escheat.</p><p>The Crown Estate does not usually seek to take possession of property subject to escheat and does not assume the responsibilities ordinarily attributable to a property owner. It therefore does not manage or insure properties subject to escheat.</p><p>The Crown Estate is not bound to dispose of property subject to escheat, or to dispose of such property to any particular purchaser. Normal policy is to dispose of such property to an appropriate purchaser where it is possible to do so.</p>
