Minutes of Ministerial meetings are not routinely published in order to ensure participants can exchange views in confidence and with trust, as well as to protect commercially sensitive information. star this property answer text <p>We took immediate action at the outbreak of the pandemic to support the rail industry, investing billions in an emergency support package to keep services running for passengers and key workers. The pandemic has had a significant impact upon the rail sector, and we will be engaging with industry and stakeholders as we consider the long-term impact. star this property answer text <p>The Government’s priorities are to resolve the dispute and work with the industry to deliver crucial reform to our railways. The Government has no formal role in the negotiations but has facilitated meetings between Trade Unions and their employers in seeking to bring the disputes to an end. It has always been the role of employers to negotiate with unions, as the pay offers are put forward by the train operators.</p> more like this
