This can be found at: http://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/householdcharacteristics/homeinternetandsocialmediausage</p><p> </p><p>The ONS estimates that in Great Britain 90% of households have an internet connection. Of those without internet access, ONS found “64% felt they didn’t need the internet as it was regarded as not useful or interesting. According to DCMS economic estimates design and designer fashion exports in 2016 were £380m, a 9.6% increase from 2015.</p><p> </p><p>The Design Council produced a report into the Design Economy in 2018 which estimates that in 2015 the total value of exports where design had made a key contribution was £48.4 billion. DCMS is working with the British Film Institute (BFI) to drive improved diversity by promoting the uptake of the BFI Diversity Standards. The BFI has set a target of all producers active in the UK having voluntarily accepted the BFI Diversity Standards by 2022. Last week, Ofcom concluded an auction for spectrum in the 2.3 and 3.4 GHz bands. This placed more 4G spectrum and the first spectrum for new 5G services into the hands of mobile operators.
