The Government has not undertaken a specific review but notes a 2014 review of executive pay by The National Council for Voluntary Organisations which found that senior executives in charities were on average paid substantially less than for similar roles in the public or private sectors.</p><p> </p><p>The Charity Commission regulates charities in England and Wales and is an independent, non-ministerial department. The Charity Commission has recently consulted on whether charities should report further on executive pay in their annual return, and if this information should be published for the public to view on the Charity Commission’s charity search tool. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/12/2017 answer text <p>The United Kingdom has encouraged fellow UN Security Council members to consider carefully what more the Council can do to ensure that the International Criminal Court (ICC) receives the necessary support, which would include action on Court referrals to it, and will continue to do so. The United Kingdom raised the importance of cooperation with the ICC on 11 December at the Assembly of States Parties and on 12 December at the UN Security Council. We called on all States Parties to the ICC to cooperate with the Court and to consult the Court if they feel that they are unable to co-operate with it for any reason. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/12/2017 answer text <p>Improving the skills and dementia awareness of homecare staff can have a big impact on supporting people with dementia in rural areas; over 100,000 social care workers have received some form of dementia awareness training and this is continuing as part of the national implementation of the Care Certificate. By 2020, we expect social care providers to provide appropriate training on dementia to all other relevant staff.</p><p> </p><p>The Department works closely with Alzheimer’s Society including through their Rural Dementia Friendly Task and Finish Group, and in establishing Dementia Friendly communities. The challenges of supporting people living in rural areas are raised frequently. We have supported dementia friendly initiatives and there are now over 2.2 million Dementia Friends and 225 Dementia Friendly communities in England, which cover a range of geographies including rural areas.</p><p>Local authorities and community groups in rural areas will be best placed to consider and respond to the needs of their communities, including people with dementia and their carers and taking into account such issues as transport needs and broadband. In 2016/17, English local authorities outside London received £265 million of funding to support socially necessary bus services and the Community Minibus Fund has provided over 300 local charities and community groups across England with over 400 minibuses to use for the benefit of their passengers. Improving broadband is also a high priority for the Government, including in rural areas. £1.7 billion of public money is being invested to support vital improvements in superfast broadband coverage across the UK.</p><p>We acknowledge that there is some evidence of increased cost of service delivery in rural sparse areas. The High Commission in Dhaka regularly raises the full range of our human rights concerns with the Government of Bangladesh.</p><p>I am deeply concerned by the growing number of attacks against freedom of expression in Bangladesh, including those that have allegedly taken place through arbitrary arrests, enforced disappearances, and extra-judicial killings. The Minister for Asia and the Pacific discussed the importance of free, fair and inclusive elections with members of the Awami League and Bangladesh National Party at a meeting hosted by the Conservative Friends of Bangladesh in July, with Bangladesh High Commissioner Quaunine in August and with Foreign Minister Ali in November. While the conflict is ongoing, our priority is to deliver life-saving humanitarian aid. The UK will continue to work with the UN and others to develop its plans for Syria following a national settlement of the conflict.</p><p>In Iraq, the International Community is currently funding the UNDP’s Funding Facility For Stabilization which provides support for immediate repairs to housing, schools and utilities.
