answer text <p>The European Union (Withdrawal) Bill was shared with officials in the Welsh Government and the other devolved administrations on 30 June. Since then, Government officials have continued discussions on the Bill with their colleagues in the Welsh Government. answer text <p>As the Prime Minister has consistently said, what will determine the timing of the referendum is the outcome of the negotiation. The only deadline we have set is to hold the referendum by the end of 2017. The Government has made no decisions on the date, except to specifically rule out holding it on 5 May 2016 or 4 May 2017.</p><p> </p><p>As the Foreign Secretary has said – ultimately, the decision will be made by the House, as the date will be decided by a statutory instrument brought before it.</p> more like this

answer text <p>This Government has demonstrated a clear commitment to devolution in Wales and that will continue regardless of the outcome of the referendum on Scottish independence. The Wales Bill delivers on most of the Silk Commission’s part one recommendations and the Government is currently considering the Commission’s part two recommendations that do not require primary legislation.</p><p>Any further changes to the devolution settlement in Wales, including consideration of the recommendations in the Silk Commission’s second report that do require primary legislation are matters for the next Parliament and should therefore inform party manifestoes for next year’s General Election.</p><p> </p> more like this
