This means £3.8 billion for the Scottish Government, £2.3 billion for the Welsh Government and £1.3 billion for the Northern Ireland Executive.</p><p> </p><p>This is equivalent to £700 per head of the Scottish population, £730 per head of the Welsh population and £680 per head of the Northern Ireland population. They have published a coronavirus reference scenario, which they continue to develop and update, which can be found on the Office for Budget Responsibility’s website. In their public commentary the Office for Budget Responsibility have said that the fiscal and monetary support measures of the UK authorities “help to limit the adverse impact on potential output and thus future GDP once the crisis has passed”.</p><p> </p><p>The government will take stock of the impact of the covid-19 public health and economic emergency on the forecast for the economy and public finances through the Budget process. The sector is varied and made up of a number of different business models including specific customs brokers, freight forwarders and fast parcel operators; all of which will require varied numbers of staff. Government support of £34m has been designed flexibly to meet the needs of the sector to build capacity by covering training and IT innovation, as well as recruitment.</p><p> </p><p>This funding has led to almost 20,000 applications for customs training courses with providers. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/06/2020 answer text <p>The Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme will remain in its current form until 30 June, with flexible furloughing introduced from 1 July.</p><p> </p><p>From 1 July, employers can bring back to work employees that have previously been furloughed for any amount of time and any shift pattern, while still being able to claim a CJRS grant for their normal hours not worked. From 1 July, employers will also be able to agree any working arrangements with previously furloughed employees.</p><p> </p><p>The scheme will close to new entrants from 30 June, and from 1 July the scheme will only be available to employers that have previously used the scheme in respect of employees they have previously furloughed. From this point onwards, employers will only be able to furlough employees that they have furloughed for a full three-week period prior to 30 June. Existing UC claimants will normally receive a higher award as a result of a fall in earnings.
