answer text <p>Knife crime has no place on our streets and the Government continues to work with the police and partners, including retailers, to ensure that we reduce violence and knife crime. The latest criminal justice statistics show that more people are getting custodial sentences for carrying a knife, and for longer.</p><p> </p><p>Information on knife crimes is published regularly on gov.uk.
