answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/07/2018 answer text <p>The Homelessness Reduction Act, which came into force on April 3 2018, requires housing authorities to work with those threatened with homelessness within 56 days to try and prevent them becoming homeless. This includes someone subject to a valid Section 21 notice for eviction. The Act also requires housing authorities to take into account the specific needs of people suffering from mental illness or impairment when designing advice and information services. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/03/2018 answer text <p>This year’s settlement will see a real terms increase in resources to local government over the next two years moving from £44.3 billion in 2017-18 to £45.6 billion in 2019-20.</p><p>Lancashire County Council will have available £1.4 billion in Core Spending Power between 2017/18 to 2019/20.</p><p>Data on either planned or actual expenditure on specific activities such as gully clearing are not held centrally. We expect multi-agency groups to include all relevant organisations and professionals who may come into contact with someone at risk of suicide such as social care services and social workers. Guidance published by Public Health England on developing suicide prevention plans, Local suicide prevention planning: A practice resource, sets out how local data collections are important in developing effective action plans to reduce suicides and that data should be collected across a wide range of services including social care: <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/suicide-prevention-developing-a-local-action-plan" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/suicide-prevention-developing-a-local-action-plan</a></p><p>The Government launched the Mental Health Crisis Care Concordat in 2014 which has been signed by a wide range of organisations including the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services, Association of Directors of Children’s Services and the College of Social Work.
