answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/11/2018 answer text <p>We have not estimated the number of homes that would be built on a local authority basis, following the abolition of the Housing Revenue Account borrowing cap. We estimate that nationally, local authority delivery will increase to around 10,000 homes per year. Local authorities in South Yorkshire, and elsewhere, are able to use their new borrowing freedom to start building new homes to meet the needs of their communities immediately. We want to see them seize this opportunity and build a new generation of council housing.</p><p>In respect of the additional £2 billion of grant funding for Affordable Housing from 2022 to 2029, it is not possible to determine the distribution across regions until bids have been approved. Homes England do publish allocations data on the current 2016-2022 Affordable Homes Programme outside of London. As of March 2018, 1,361 affordable homes have been allocated grant funding in South Yorkshire.</p><p>Local authorities in South Yorkshire were successful in securing £5.8 million of Housing Infrastructure Fund (HIF) Marginal Viability Funding, which will unlock up to 730 homes. The final funding amounts are subject to a funding clarification process that is currently underway. We are currently working with Sheffield City Regions Combined Authority to develop their HIF Forward Funding bid. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/11/2018 answer text <p>Following the Government’s success at the Court of Appeal, pending the conclusion of any further legal proceedings, I intend to reinstate the guidance provided to Local Government Pension Scheme administering authorities requiring that they should not pursue investment policies that are contrary to UK foreign policy or UK defence policy.</p><p>Separately, the Directive on the Activities and Supervision of Institutions for Occupational Retirement Provision (IORP II) is due to be implemented by 13 January 2019. A number of specific grants from other Government Departments were transferred into the business rates retention scheme at this time, including the Department for Education’s Early Intervention Grant.</p><p>In order to maintain the visibility of a number of named, non ring-fenced, elements of funding within the local government finance settlement, the Government currently publishes a Core Spending Power visible lines table (link below). The Early Intervention Grant is one of the visible lines set out in this table. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/09/2018 answer text <p>Since 2011 the cross-government hate crime programme has included work with Internet Service Providers and key stakeholders to deal with online abuse including misogynistic, racist, homophobic and transphobic abuse.</p><p>This work has largely been led by the Inter-Parliamentary Coalition for combating Anti-Semitism, and latterly by the EU High Level Group on internet abuse. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/06/2018 answer text <p>The Department does not hold centrally the number and location of refuges which are available to women with no recourse to public funds in the UK.</p><p>The provision of refuge is a devolved matter. We are carrying out a comprehensive review of how domestic abuse services are delivered locally across England. To inform our review we have commissioned an audit - being run by Ipsos MORI – which will give us a complete picture of domestic abuse provision across England, including services for victims with no recourse to public funds. This will enable us to assess what impact services are having and to identify any gaps in provision. Thereafter we will make decisions on the future arrangements for domestic abuse services.</p><p>Of the projects funded through the Ministry of Housing Communities and Local Government 2016-18 £20 million fund for domestic abuse services, 14 committed to use funding they received to support victims of domestic abuse with no recourse to public funds. We also fund the ‘No Women Turned Away Project’ managed by Women’s Aid, which provides support to victims of domestic abuse, including those with no recourse to public funds, who may have been turned away from a refuge.</p><p>Government has consulted on what more can be done to protect domestic abuse victims with no recourse to public funds through the Domestic Abuse Bill, which closed on 31 May.
